Analyst: Primary responsibilities include financial modeling and analyses for securities valuations, private company valuations, and buyout transactions. A strong interest in finance and solid analytical skills are a must. Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles is preferred or encouraged through participation in the Chartered Financial Analyst program. In addition to financial modeling and valuations, Analysts perform industry research and analysis, and assist in the broader due diligence associated with private company valuations, mergers and acquisitions.
Associate: Associates are fully involved in all aspects of valuation and financial opinion engagements. Responsibilities include financial modeling and valuation, industry research and analysis, review and negotiation of transaction documentation, conducting management interviews, and ongoing communication with clients, lawyers and other financial professionals. Candidates must have a strong knowledge of accounting, reason critically, and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. An Associate must also be able to meet the demands of conflicting schedules and participate in multiple engagements at the same time. |
